COMPANY B

In the first Company B show, a character named "Howard Spraugue" was pulled from the audience, made to do sketches, was arrested, tried, convicted, sentenced to death, was brought back to life and, in the end, killed again. Although Company B chose the last name of "Sprague" as a last name for Howard's character as an homage to the character played by Jack Dodson on "The Andy Griffith Show," the Bs had no idea that while they were busy killing Howard nightly on stage, the real actor would succomb.:
Howard Sprague

No disrespect to Jack Dodson. He had a great sense of humor.
